Product Description

Hi,

I’m John Cromer, author of The Glass-Slapper’s Guide to Solar Power.

In 2008, I quit my job in the oil industry to get into residential solar. Since then, I developed projects up to 1000kW in size, picked up my NABCEP PV Installer certificate, passed the Master Electrician exam, and become a licensed residential builder in Mississippi.

Did you know Mississippi is home of the USA’s first electric cooperative? It’s rural beginnings have left its electric grid policy a complete mess with little solution but to go off-grid.

That is why we are off-grid specialists. We publish our off-grid pricing right on our website and provide free educational videos on the design philosophy that drives our product selection. You can take our entire program for free at our youtube channel, or with instructor interactivity through our paid cloud network.

Please note that we are only officially registered with NABCEP as a continuing education provider. Many state boards of engineering and architecture accept our program for continuing education credit. To receive a completion certificate, you must be a paid member. Your membership is valid for three years and you may take as many of our programs as you like in that time.

We are seeking sponsorship for any other certifications you may need.  If you would us to register for your trade group, you may [JOIN A LIST] to split those registration fees down the road. Such groups include AIA, USGBC, OSHA, IREC, BPI and various state licensing boards.

We currently have  hours of course content registered with NABCEP, including eighteen job task analysis hours and six hours of national electric code.

Your payment helps maintain our program and we take your feedback seriously. As a result, we are compiling our various 6 hour lectures into a more comprehensive 58 hour format along the following outline, which you may complete at your own pace, taken in any order.

  1. (verified owner):

The Community Solar online NABCEP credit program is great for installers on a budget and short of time.

We are in a rural area of Pennsylvania and picking up NABCEP continuing education credits often involves a daylong trip to New Jersey.

It’s much better to stay home and pick up the credits in the evening or on a rainy day.

In a word: Wow! I just watch the first six hours and have to say thank you for your fantastic enthusiasm energy and delivery in your teaching. I have high standards from many years in the Hollywood multimedia production industry and have I have seen so many coaching videos for my contracting licenses and initial nabcep cert that are just unimaginably horrible to suffer through. You really have an outstanding gift in your delivery and I look forward to further studies of your material.
